Our Mission

To serve senior adults, enriching their lives in a manner that glorifies our Lord Jesus Christ, while maximizing quality of life.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania granted a charter to the corporation on November 10, 1962. Ground breaking for the first accommodations was held on June 24, 1962 and the home opened its doors in May of 1963 with fourteen residents.

A New Dimension in Retirement Living

Calvary Homes is a community where residents feel as though we are part of their extended family. Residents and visitors quickly discover that the key to the distinctiveness of our community is a dedicated staff motivated by their love of service.

We minister not only to the physical and emotional needs but also the spiritual needs of our residents. Our residents enjoy a close-knit community complete with housing at a reasonable cost, supplemented by the security of lifelong healthcare.

Our staff considers their daily tasks not merely as employment, but as an opportunity to minister to the residents. Calvary has earned the respect and confidence of its residents, their families, and the community at large.

We continue to trust in God's leading and provision. We look to our God to bless our residents, corporation, board, staff, and friends as this ministry of caring continues.

We are all "Partners in Caring". To Him be the glory!
